The Wedding Venue Photographers Keep Coming Back To

One of the things couples tell us most after their wedding at 52 North? Their photos are unreal — and it's no accident.

The day begins in The Suite, a bright, airy space with natural light and elevated finishes perfect for getting-ready moments. For a different mood entirely, The Vault offers a dark, atmospheric setting with rich textures and a speakeasy-inspired feel — ideal for bold bride or groom portraits and those more editorial, magazine-worthy shots. From there, the day moves into our woodland ceremony space, where towering trees and a winding creek create a breathtaking natural backdrop from the very first frame.

While guests relax on the grounds — sipping cocktails and playing yard games — your photographer whisks you into the woodland for portraits that feel unhurried and completely in the moment. Then, as the sun sets, that same landscape transforms into something cinematic: warm golden hour light filtering through the trees, the kind photographers wait all day for.

Finally, the celebration moves into our 3,500 sq ft modern reception hall, anchored by a New York-inspired brick feature wall that makes for a stunning and unforgettable backdrop as you're introduced for the first time as a married couple.

Different backdrops. Different vibes. One location. No travel, no logistics — just a wedding gallery full of photos that feel unique, memorable, and totally you.

Still not convinced? Photographer Leah Tyler-Szucki said it best in her blog: Why 52 North Venue Is a Photographer's Dream in Central Alberta.
